Gotta Catch Them All!!! Dragon Ball!

Most Dragon Ball XenoVerse Characters

Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball XenoVerse happens to have a large roster of fighters. Over 40 characters are available to be unlocked to be used in versus mode, tournament mode, or as companions during Parallel Quests. Many of them are very rare (we’ll get to those shortly), but most of them are pretty easy to come by.

To unlock the majority of fighters in Dragon Ball XenoVerse, all you have to do is beat the main storyline and any parallel quests available to you. Doing this will also unlock different outfit options for each of those characters which slightly alter their stats. You will then notice that there are several empty spots left on the character select screen. For those, you’re going to have to put in a bit more work.

SOME SPOILERS AHEAD!!! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.

Super Saiyan 4 Gojeta, Super 17, and Omega Shenron

Three of Dragon Ball XenoVerses strongest fighters can only be obtained through the power of wishes. That means you’re going to have to do some digging for the legendary Dragon Balls. These things are quite rare, but once again we’ve got you covered. Check out this guide detailing a way to easily collect all seven Dragon Balls.

Once you have all seven you can head over to the altar where you place the Dragon Balls and make a wish. Just in case you’re wondering, you need to select, “I want more characters.” To unlock all three fighters you will have to repeat this process two more times.

 Bardock and Broly

To unlock Bardock (Goku’s father) and Broly (Legendary Super Saiyan), you’re going to have to jump through a few hoops. This won’t be easy, but to unlock these two capable warriors, it’s definitely worth the hassle. The trouble revolves around unlocking a secret Saga in Dragon Ball XenoVerse, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with how to do so. You’re going to need to find five items known as Time Chasm Crystal Shards.

Collecting them isn’t too difficult but it will take some time since you need to complete several quests:

  • First, defeat Demon God Demigra in Dragon Ball XenoVerse‘s main story.
  • Find and speak to Recon, an NPC found in Toki-Toki city (found by the bridges to the Dragon Ball altar).
  • Complete Parallel Quest #49.
  • Complete Parallel Quest #14 or #18 with an Ultimate Finish. This means you must complete the quest with the bonus requirements. For #14 defeat Krillin before Goku while Frieza still has over 50% health. If you beat Krillin and Goku in under 5 minutes, it should summon Super Saiyan Goku for you to defeat. For #18, defeat all Ginyu Force members in under 5 minutes, this will summon Frieza for you to defeat.
  • Complete Parallel Quest #2 or #21 with Ultimate Finish. For #2, defeat everyone in under 5 minutes then defeat Goku. For #21, defeat everyone but leave Gohan for last and win without defeating Cell. Cell sometimes won’t show, which is perfect for you.

Once you complete these tasks, you will have collected all five Time Chasm Crystal Shards. This will unlock the Legendary Super Saiyan Saga. Once you complete that saga you will unlock Bardock and Broly for use in Dragon Ball XenoVerse.

Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegito

These could potentially be the last two fighters you unlock in Dragon Ball XenoVerse. To unlock these two characters, you will first have to complete all of the steps to unlock Bardock and Broly. This is necessary in order to unlock all of the remaining Parallel Quests in the game which you then need to complete in order to unlock the incredibly powerful Super Saiyan 4 Goku.

It should be noted that only Parallel Quest #37 is required to unlock Vegito. For Super Saiyan 4 Goku, you have to complete all 55 of these quests. But don’t worry, it shouldn’t prove too difficult, since Ultimate Finishes aren’t necessary.

There you have it, you have unlocked all available characters in Dragon Ball XenoVerse. For more information on Dragon Ball XenoVerse be sure to check out the game’s official site. Also, check out Twinfinite’s review of the game.
