Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Is a Thing

Cue the vuvuzelas!

For quite some time there have been mutterings of an Uncharted collection coming to the PlayStation 4. Looks like the rumors were right all along.

Earlier today, it seems that someone at Sony dropped the ball and put up the listing on the PlayStation store for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Of course it wasn’t long before the mistake was caught and it was pulled off. Not before someone managed to grab a screenshot for us all though.

Unfortunately, nobody managed to grab any more details from clicking on the banner. When excited Uncharted fans were clicking on the banner image, they were greeted with this message. We wanted more leaked info dammit!

The images were only appearing on the mobile site and only to those in the United States, sounds like someone in the mobile division on stateside screwed up and dropped the ball. Whilst this did strongly suggest that the rumors of an Uncharted collection were true, Neil Druckmann took to Twitter and all but confirmed the existence of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

Though this does kinda suck for the Naughty Dog team, the fans response is going to be overwhelmingly positive I’m sure. What we can expect from the collection is yet to be confirmed, however an update similar to The Last of Us: Remastered wouldn’t be a surprise.

Unfortunately we have no more details with regards to Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, but it would not be surprising for Naughty Dog to fill the gap that Uncharted 4 has left this holiday season with the Nathan Drake Collection.

We’ll have more news on the story as it develops, so be sure to keep checking back with Twinfinite. Would you be interested in picking up an Uncharted collection? Let us know in the comments below.
