Preorder Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 to Get an Awesome Mass Effect-Inspired Armor

Today at the EA Gamescom conference, both EA and PopCap Games showed off the Backyard Battleground for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.

Backyard Battleground is a new in-game hub that features a variety of optional things for players to discover and do. It will also support online co-op where players can invite three people to tackle quests and missions together.

EA also announced that those who preorder Garden Warfare 2 will have access to the Grass Effect Z7-Mech set. This preorder bonus includes the Zomni-tool, as well as a Mass Effect-inspired set of armor.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is set to be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2016.
