Batman: Arkham Knight was a big hit on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but unfortunately the PC version was such a broken mess that Warner Bros actually pulled the game from shelves. Months (and several patches) later, the PC version is more stable, but is still far from being as good as its console counterparts.
Warner Bros has today released a new update on the Batman: Arkham Knight Steam page announcing that a new update will be released later this month and that all DLC will be free for PC gamers. The post reads:
“As many of you know, we released a major patch for Batman: Arkham Knight PC a few weeks ago. While there were significant performance improvements made to the game, the teams are continuing to work on the additional updates that were outlined in our previous post. We expect these updates to be ready at the end of October, at which time the PC version will be made available for purchase. In addition, support for all DLC that has been released for the console versions will be in place.
Thanks again for your continued patience and support. We’ll be sure to update everyone as soon as the update is live.
– Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment”
It seems this may be case of too little, too late given the comments left by Steam users. Still, here’s hoping the game is up and running soon.
