Far Cry Primal Official Box Art and Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

Cavemen, saber tooth tigers, and mammoths, oh my!

Along with the Far Cry Primal reveal this morning came the official box art as well as its pre-order bonuses. Sites like Amazon and Gamestop already have it listed and available for pre-order before its February 26, 2016 release date with the retail price of $59.99. The game’s box art will include what we can assume is the main character, a saber tooth friend, and the condescending gaze of a giant mammoth.

The product description is as follows:

Welcome to the Stone Age, a time of omnipresent danger and limitless adventure, where giant woolly mammoths and saber-toothed tigers rule the Earth, and humanity is at the bottom of the food chain. As the last survivor of your tribe, you will learn to craft a deadly arsenal, fend off fierce predators, and outsmart enemies to conquer Oros and save mankind.

The award-winning Far Cry franchise that stormed the tropics and climbed the Himalayas now enters the original fight for mankind’s survival with its innovative open world gameplay, bringing together massive beasts, breathtaking environments, and unpredictable 360-degree combat in one savage package.

It seems that the “Mammoth Mission Pack” which is available only by pre-ordering the game will include “three exclusive Mammoth missions.” This bonus is the same through all sites, so, as of yet, there doesn’t seem to be any retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses.

Far Cry Primal was revealed this morning after more than 10 hours of teasing on Ubisoft’s YouTube channel. This was even after halfway through the stream, when it was accidentally leaked on the internet. It’s set for release February 26 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
