Launched earlier this year in May on Andriod and iOS devices, Lara Croft: Relic Run is a free-to-play endless runner which takes the gameplay made popular by 2011’s Temple Run and adds a Lara Croft twist to the game.
The game appears to have been a hit amongst Tomb Raider fans and has been downloaded over 10 million times. To celebrate, Square Enix is releasing a new update for the game which adds new content. The update will add a new stage called Mountain Pass, a new snowmobile vehicle, and a new weapon in the form of a mini-gun. A new boss will be added called the Demon, plus the tutorial will be getting an overhaul along with the campaign map. Some new images have been released to show off the update.
Lara Croft: Relic Run has been gaining popularity as the release date for Rise of the Tomb Raider draws ever closer. No doubt it is helping lots of gamers kill time until the main game is released.
