Star Wars Battlefront Adds Leia, Han, and Palpatine

Rebel scum...

Unlike her father and brother, who can best be described as tanks, Leia will be more about support play. Anyone who spawns on her will spawn as part of the Alderaan Honor Guard, and her Trooper Bane ability can kill Troopers in one hit while Villains can be take a lot of damage and be temporarily stunned. Her Enhanced Squad Shield can stop Force abilities and be used with Trooper Bane. Her final ability, Supply Drop, lets her drop powerups for ground troopers and health boosts for other Hero characters.

Han, true to his nature, will be a gunslinger in Star Wars Battlefront and incredibly easy to get into. His Rapid Fire skill lets him fire as fast as you can pull the trigger without worrying about overheating, making it perfect if you stare down a bad guy like Vader or Palpatine. Lucky Shot is a build and release power that hits enemies hard and works effectively against vehicles, and Shoulder Charge can be used to quickly get in or out of battles.

Finally, there’s Palpatine. Just like in the films, he’ll have his Force Lightning ability that does a ton of damage to any troops within reach. But there’s also a Force Dash that increases his movement speed, and Imperial Resources, which hands out power ups to teammates and health boosts to fellow villains.

These three characters will join the cast of Star Wars Battlefront when the game releases on November 17 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Who do you plan on perfecting first? Let us know in the comments below.
